Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Mesilla, Public Works Department, 2231 Ave. de Mesilla, P.O. Box 10, Mesilla, NM 88046, until 2 p.m., May 12, 2025 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and bid prices will be read aloud in the Mesilla Town Hall. Specifications and Bid forms will be available on-line at www.mesillanm.gov and at the Mesilla Town Hall beginning April 11, 2025, at 2231 Avenida de Mesilla, Mesilla, New Mexico. Proposals must be submitted on Bid forms furnished by the Township in hard copy. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond by a recognized surety company in the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00), payable to the Town of Mesilla as surety for acceptance of the bid. All bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes and clearly labeled Bids for Solid Waste Collection.
The Town reserves the right to waive or reject any or all bids, or to negotiate individually with one or more firms and to select a firm with which to contract for these services on the basis of all factors. The Township further reserves the right to waive informalities and to make the award that, in the opinion of the Board of Trustees, is in the best interest and to the advantage of the Town, including bids that are not for the lowest amount.
