Administrative Department

The Administrative Department was established pursuant to MTC 2.35. The Town Clerk-Treasurer is the designated department supervisor. Due to the size of the municipality, the department performs various functions for the town. These functions are vital to the overall administration of the town.

The Town Clerk/Treasurer is the official custodian of the minutes of the Board of Trustees. Serves as the custodian of the public records; records all proceedings, ordinances and resolutions. Serves as the clerk to the Board of Trustees; and administers the town elections. The treasuer is responsible for all financial related aspects. Reports to the BOT or Board of Finance on a regular basis. Works closely with the Mayor and Trustees to ensure all Town finances are in order, including the annual budget and audit reports.
