The Planning, Zoning & Historical Appropriateness Commission has postponed their regularly scheduled meeting of Monday, January 16, 2018 to Thursday, January 18, 2018.  The worksession will begin at 5:00 p.m.  The meeting itself will commence at 6:00 p.m.

MESILLA - Candidates filed for office for the 2018 Municipal Election on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.  The positions of Mayor and two Trustee positions (at large) are currently up for election for four (4) year terms. 

Municiapl Clerk/Treasurer, Cynthia Stoehner-Hernandez and Deputy Clerk/Treasurer, Gloria Maya, certified the candidates for office on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.  Certified candidates drew for ballot order on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 5:01 PM in the Board Room before the public. The Mayor and staff will host a community meeting at the Mesilla Community Center, 2251 Calle de Santiago, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 6:00 P.M.

The purpose of this meeting is for staff to let the residents know what their goals are for 2018 and to listen to any concerns the community may have.  Hope to see you there.
